Destiny 2 Stars Crossed Guide – How to Get the Crossplay Emblem

Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer is here and it’s time to elevate your fashion game. Along with new weapons, a 6 player activity, armor, story missions, and season pass, the heavily requested armor transmogrification feature is finally arriving. In this season, players will team up with the Fallen Captain Mithrax to stop the Vex from plunging Earth into total darkness. Along with all this, Bungie will also be testing out crossplay which has been a long-requested feature by the community. While this feature was accidentally available to some at the season’s launch, Bungie is officially beta testing this mode next week. To reward players, you can earn the Stars Crossed emblem if you participate in the beta.

How to Get the Stars Crossed Emblem

From May 25-27 players can open up the Vanguard Strike playlist and select crossplay beta playlist. Participating in three strikes via crossplay will earn you the Stars Crossed Emblem. There are no additional steps, kills, or quests you will need to acquire for this emblem. Just load into Destiny 2 during this time and complete three strikes to unlock the Stars Cross emblem. Additionally, you cannot make any fireteams beforehand or participate in other activities like Gambit, Crucible, or raids. This is strictly tied to the strike playlist activity. You will not be able to unlock this emblem any other way, so make sure to pick it up before it’s gone!

Season of the Splicer Info

If you are new to Destiny 2 or haven’t been keeping in touch with the game, Season of the Splicer is in full swing. Revolving around the Vex plunging The Last City into total darkness, players will team up with the Fallen, Mithrax, to battle against the robotic menace. Along with a bunch of new loot, players can participate in a 6-player matchmade activity called Override. There is also a whole suite of new weapons for players to obtain such as the returning Hung Jury, various Splicer-themed weapons, and a potent new pinnacle fusion rifle. Transmogrification is also finally available, however, the grind is far more oppressive than many players wanted.

Vault of Glass is also making its return to Destiny 2 this Saturday for those looking for more PVE endgame content. With the Contest modifier set at 1300 Light, players can participate in the World’s First raid this weekend. For those that complete the raid before May 25, you can earn a code to purchase the Vault of Glass ring, and beating it before June 1 unlocks a code to buy the Vault of Glass raid jacket. Keep in mind, you still have to actually pay for the jacket and ring, beating the raid before the dates above just gives you the opportunity to purchase them.
