COD: Warzone ISO Loadout Guide – Best Attachments for the ISO

Season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has officially arrived, so it’s time to drop in and try out all-new content. One of the two new weapons tied to this season pass, the ISO is a very short range submachine gun that absolutely devastates at close range. Unlocked by just progressing through the battle pass, the ISO will certainly be a popular choice for players who like to fight at point-blank range. That being said, it will take a lot for the ISO to standout in a very competitive archetype. After all, the MP5, MP7, and Fennec are all superb SMGs that are viable in Warzone.

Here is the best loadout for the ISO in Call of Duty: Warzone and what attachments you should use.

Why the ISO?

As we mentioned previously, there are a ton of terrific SMGs that you can bring into Warzone. The ISO is not an unbalanced gun that is going to define the meta for months, but that doesn’t make it terrible. This is a very middle of the road weapon that will certainly see some love form the community. With a very controllable recoil pattern, it’s pretty easy to stay on target, even if they are sprinting from cover to cover. Similar to other submachine guns, the ISO’s effective range is between 1-20 meters, so you will want to pair it either an assault rifle like the FAL or even a marksman rifle. Yet, the ISO is terrific for clearing buildings thanks to its compact design and overwhelming fire rate. You should have no problem killing anyone you come across at close-range.

Best ISO Attachments

  • Barrel – FSS Nightshade
  • Rear Grip – STAC Elite ISO Grip
  • Ammunition  50 Round Mag
  • Underbarrel – Commando Foregrip
  • Stock – FTAC Vagrant
  • Laser – No Changes
  • Perk – No Perk
  • Optic – No Changes
  • Muzzle – No Changes

For the ISO, we are focusing almost solely on increasing the guns range and making up for the heft ADS (aim down sights) penalties we will get. For the barrel, I recommend the FSS Nightshade since it acts as both a suppressor and increases Bullet Velocity, Damage Range, and Recoil Control. This frees up an attachment slot and crucially keeps us off the mini-map. While you can run the Tactical Suppressor, getting that boost to range is always useful for a submachine gun. Another attachment you will want to use is the 50 Round Mag, as it ensures we have enough bullets to kill a fully armored opponent. Like previous SMGs, this attachment is a must-have, since the base clip is way too small for Warzone.

Both the FTAC Vagrant stock and STAC Elite ISO Grip are solely here to increase our ADS speed. These will help offset the negatives of the other attachments, allowing you to snap to targets a little faster. It’s not completely necessary, but I still strongly recommend them since you’ll always want to draw your submachine gun faster than your opponent. Finally, we’re picking the Commando Foregrip as it makes the recoil even easier to control and helps reduce the bullet spread. However, both the Merc and Ranger Foregrip are viable options, just remember you’ll have a lower ADS with the latter.

Our build for this SMG isn’t anything truly insane, but it should give you the needed balance of range and speed that you’ll want in this archetype.
