Apex Legends Thrillseekers Guide – How to Earn Points During the Event

We’re halfway through Season 9 of Apex Legends and there’s a new event to participate in. With the Genesis event coming to a close, a new event is swiftly taking its place. Dubbed “Thrillseekers,” this event is all about the Arena mode and the new map Overflow. Along with this map, there are a bunch of cosmetics and free Apex Packs you can unlock by simply playing this new mode every week. Starting on July 13, this event will run until August 3 with rewards available throughout its duration. While you can purchase some of the cosmetics like Mirage’s rodeo clown outfit in the store, skins for Rampart, Bangalore, and the Devotion are available via the Thrillseekers event tracks.

How to Get Thrillseekers Event Points

You can earn points during the Thrillseekers event by completing the Daily Challenges found in the Challenge Menu. These will update daily with new tasks for you to complete and they are, mostly, pretty simple. This can include winning rounds, dealing damage, or just playing the game itself. Every challenge you complete will earn you 200 Points, for a total of 1,000 Points per day if you finish every challenge offered. To earn everything you’ll need a maximum of 3,000 Points, per weekly tracker. Once the week is up, all your progress and the rewards will change, so make sure to play when there’s a certain skin you want!

All rewards can be seen in the chart below:

Keep in mind, you cannot earn points by getting kills, winning games, or completing battle pass challenges. The only way to earn points is by finishing the Thrillseekers challenges, so make sure to prioritize these every day when you log on. Since there are three rewards tracks, you’ll need a total of 9,000 points if you want to obtain everything that doesn’t require real-world money. Most of the challenges are tied to Arena, but there are a few you can finish in the battle royale mode.

More Apex Legends:

Speaking of cold hard cash, there are several skins and cosmetics available in the shop for the duration of the event. These all cost between 1,800-6,000 Apex Coins and cannot be obtained any other way than shelling out real money. There is also no heirloom available during this event or changes to any of the three core battle royale maps. This is strictly an update to Arena and most of the challenges are tied to that mode. Additionally, there are no major updates to any of the legends or weapons, so don’t expect any surprise buffs and nerfs today. With this update, both the original Kings Canyon and World’s Edge will be gone. So say goodbye to 90% of the lobby dying in Skulltown, now they’re all going to die in Fragment instead.

The Apex Legends Thrillseekers event is now live until August 3 on all consoles.
