Monster Hunter Rise Has Free Updates on the Way Before It’s Even Out – Capcom revealed that Monster Hunter Rise’s first substantial update will arrive a mere month after the game’s launch, containing the elder dragon Chameleos. The game will release on Mar. 26 on Switch.

Bethesda and Microsoft Make it Facebook Official, Clarify Exclusivity Terms – Microsoft closed their acquisition of Bethesda this week and held multiple explainers about the future of the two companies. Bethesda’s back catalog is coming to Game Pass and it appears that most of their future catalog will come to platforms that support Game Pass (i.e. the Xboxes, PC, and Game Pass Streaming).

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge Evokes the Franchise’s ’80s Heyday – From the publishers of last year’s Streets of Rage 4 comes a new TMNT brawler that looks and acts like the late 80s/early 90s arcade classics. The trailer even includes Faith No More’s Mike Patton singing the classic Turtles theme!

Sounds Like Naughty Dog is Making The Last of Us Multiplayer into a Service Game – While it didn’t make the game’s launch, a now-standalone Last of Us multiplayer game appears to be veering toward a live-service title. An Economy Designer job listing indicates that Naughty Dog is looking for something more fleshed out than merely a separate mode.

New Life is Strange Headlines Square-Enix Presents Digital Showcase – Square Enix announced a Direct-style presentation next week with a new Life is Strange title to make up the bulk of the show. The Mar. 18 stream will also touch on Tomb Raider’s upcoming 25th anniversary, updates for Marvel’s Avengers, some mobile games like Just Cause, and more.

Techland Offering a Dying Light 2 Update Next Week – Dying Light 2 was delayed out of 2020, but Techland says that they will finally give a development update on the game next week. The likely answer is a release date, but it remains to be seen what exactly they will detail.
