TFT Locket Stacking Guide – Powerful Teamfight Tactics Strategy

In the current version of Teamfight Tactics, it’s commonplace to experience at least one player Locket stacking. In short, this can make it nearly impossible to kill an entire team of Sorcerers even though they have no tank. Our TFT Locket Stacking Guide will run down this strategy, how to pull it off yourself, and the best ways to counter it.

What TFT Locket Stacking Is

Our TFT Best Team Comps Guide touches on this a little bit, but putting three Lockets of the Iron Solari on Morgana is extremely powerful. But it turns out that you can do this with just about any champion. As long as you have six Sorcerers, the amount of damage you put out is already intense. But give one champion multiple Lockets and things can get messy.

Locket of the Iron Solari provides 20 Ability Power and 20 Armor. It also gives the unit a buff which gives all adjacent allies a 200 health shield at the start of the match. This bonus is not unique. Therefore you can have your entire team, assuming you position them correctly, start with a 600 health shield! That’s an extra 3,000 health across the entire team!

This extra health will almost certainly allow each of your champions to use their ultimates at least once if not twice per match!

You can make a Locket of the Iron Solari by combining a Needlessly Large Rod and a Chain Vest. So grab those from the champion circle rounds when you can.

TFT Champions to Locket Stack

Honestly, any champion can be locket stacked, though Morgana is the best choice by far given her ultimate.

  • Lulu
  • Veigar
  • Aurelion Sol

How to Counter Locket Stacking

There’s no hard counter to Locket stacking, but you can utilize Kassadin to drain mana away from the Sorcerers to stop them from ulting. You can also utilize a Demon composition, crowd control heavy comps like Glacial, and Dragon’s Claw.

Dragon’s Claw is an item you get by combining two Negatron Cloaks. It provides 83% resistance to magic damage. Get as many of these as you can and the enemy won’t be able to do a thing.

The buff your Dragons get from having at least two of them on your team makes them immune to magic damage. A Demon comp, on the other hand, can burn away all of the enemy’s mana before it can be used.
