Soul Hackers 2 Totem Memory Sources – Where to Find Totem Memory
Totem Memory is one of the items used for crafting recipes, especially with the blacksmith in charge of your COMP devices. There are many interesting upgrades that will require you to have Totem Memory, so it’s important to know where to find it.
In short, here are the Totem Memory sources in Soul Hackers 2:
- You’re guaranteed to get Totem Memory after defeating most bosses and mini bosses
- During Demon Recon, demons are likely to give you Totem Memory — it can be from just a random demon in the level, or from some inside rooms that tend to be far from the main path
Let’s look into the details. The first source is fairly straightforward — as you progress through the main story, you’re going to encounter several boss and mini boss encounters to go through. Every time you succeed in one of them, you’re going to get at least 1 Totem Memory, including other rewards (cash, tons of experience, and so on). In addition, the Soul Matrix has an array of mini bosses to go through on specific floors of each one of the character dungeons. So if you’re in need of Totem Memory and you don’t know where to look, head back to the Soul Matrix and run through a few floors (if you can open the gates, that is.)
As for Demon Recon, this is sadly up to luck. There is no way to know when you’re going to be getting a Totem Memory as opposed to other items. One way you can try and turn this on your favor is to consume a meal that increases the chances of getting items from demons. This is going to narrow down the encounters at least, and you can then take it from there.
I also recommend trying and exploring every nook and cranny of a dungeon if you’re trying to get your hands on some more Soul Hackers 2 Totem Memory. I can’t emphasize this enough, as most of the times a demon gave me the item were not in corridors but inside actual rooms that were super far off from the main path. If you’re about to cross a door that leads to a boss fight or similar and you still have some unexplored corners of the map, I suggest you go and address that.
