Smash Ultimate will be a lot of players’ first introduction to some of Nintendo’s most obscure games. While Kid Icarus isn’t the most difficult game to recognize, the series has been largely dormant for quite some time. So it’s interesting that the developer has chosen to represent that franchise with not one, but two versions of its protagonist — Pit and Dark Pit. Granted, the latter battler is an Echo Fighter, so many of his moves mirror his lighter counterpart.
