There is no shortage of melee bruisers in Smash Ultimate. A lot of those characters also have ranged abilities, but fewer almost completely rely on their ability to keep foes at a distance. Palutena is an exception. Sure, she can mix it up point blank, but a lot of her moves are based on sending — and reflecting — projectiles at her foes in nearly every direction.
