MTG Arena Constructed Events Guide - Rewards, Entry Fee, Tips

Magic: The Gathering can be an intimidating game, especially when it comes to the Limited format. Today we take a look at MTG: Arena Constructed Events, both Ranked and Traditional. We’ll go over the entry fees, match structure, and rewards before offering some tips for each of them.

What is an MTG: Arena Constructed Event?

There are a lot of default modes in MTG: Arena. Play, Traditional Play, Ranked, and Traditional Ranked. This is essentially just ranked and unranked play alongside best-of-one and best-of-three, respectively. But these games modes have little stakes short of your in-game rank.

If you’re a fan of typical Magic Arena gameplay, but want to have somewhat higher stakes than just playing normal matches, Wizards of the Coast almost always offers Constructed events. In Constructed events you just choose which deck you want to bring, pay the entry fee, and get some extra rewards based on how well you do!

In short, these are game modes that cost Gems or Gold to enter and offer potential rewards in return. Both only offer Gold in return and individual card rewards (ICRs). These ICRs (including upgraded uncommon ICRs) have a 1:8 chance of upgrading to a Mythic Rare.
