If you don’t mind the big push behind trading card games in sports titles, you’ve likely played Diamond Dynasty or something roughly equivalent to it in any of EA’s plethora of games. As per usual, however, MLB The Show 21 really places an emphasis on playing online in leagues with your friends. If that’s not your thing, you’re relegated to less well developed game modes.
