The League of Legends Star Guardian bond level is a feature related to the 2022 event’s main story called Another Sky. If you’re looking to gain some tokens or just get to know more about some of the characters involved, you’re gonna want to know how to make the most out of it. The Star Guardian event has kicked off already and there are tons to look forward to throughout the next month, and we’re diving into its most important aspects. This guide explains how to increase the Star Guardian bond level for all characters during the 2022 event and the rewards for doing so.
How to Increase Star Guardian Bond Level
There are a few ways to increase the Star Guardian bond level in League of Legends, thankfully, but it’s worth keeping in mind that co-op vs AI matches don’t count, so you’re not wasting time ahead of matches.
- Play a game of Summoner’s Rift: Grants you three bonds
- Play a game of ARAM, TFT, or Ultimate Spellbook: Grants you two bonds
- Play as the champion you want to earn Bonds for: Grants you four additional bonds
- Play while using the champion’s Star Guardian skin: Grants you two additional bonds
Yes, these are all stacking rewards. Riot Games provided the following example that helps illustrate it further: “If you were to play a game of Summoner’s Rift as Star Guardian Akali, you’d earn 3 Bond across all Star Guardians, with another 6 Bond for Akali.”
As such, completing either of the first two objectives generates bonds for all of your currently available Star Guardians, which is neat. That being said, each Star Guardian has its own set of missions in case you want additional bonds.
Star Guardian Bond Missions and Bond Rewards
If you want to do increase the League of Legends Star Guardian Bond Level, keep in mind that these are repeating mission objectives that are active even when you’re not playing as that champion. From there, after getting a specific amount of bonds, you’ll gain a level with the character.
