Fortnite Dance at Different Crashed IO Airships Explained

As part of the first week of weekly quests, you’re tasked to mod a dance at different crashed IO Airships across the battle royale map. This is one of the most typical quest types in Fortnite, and you’re bound to find it a few times each season involving different points of interest or objects, such as statues.

Now, there are five locations to choose from (you can use any dance emote you have) and they’re all scattered in different locations. In random order, you can find crashed IO Airships in the following spots:

  • North of Tilted Towers in the lake
  • Southeast of Coney Crossroads
  • West of Rocky Reels
  • Southeast of Condo Canyon
  • All the way East following The Daily Bugle as a starting point

The order is indifferent and you can do this across multiple matches, so don’t worry if you get taken down by other players before getting to all three in one go. I started with the one southeast of Coney Crossroads, and no, I didn’t need to be on top of any specific structure, just close enough to the area.

Then, I headed over to the crashed IO Airship west of Rocky Reels, which is quite secluded, so I definitely recommend using this to your advantage.

Lastly, I went to the one in the far southern corner of the map. It’s the very last structure you can see before reaching the limit of the map, and as such, it’s very unlikely that you’ll come across other players, unless they’re also doing this quest.

That is all you need to know to complete the Fortnite Dance at Different Crashed IO Airships quest! Again, the order is up to you — if you’re attempting to complete the quest in one go, I recommend starting either at the spot west of Rocky Reels or the one close to Coney Crossroads, and then follow the “L” path to include the one in the lake that is up north of Tilted Towers.

The only problem of these three spots is that the surroundings are fairly popular, and also centric, so it’s likely that the battle bus is going to be flying above them. If that’s the case, I recommend heading over to the crashed IO Airships that are separated from the actual battle royale map, as you’re bound to encounter close to none players around.
