Fortnite Complete a Lap Around the Boat Race Circuit After the Starting Countdown location
As part of the first batch of No Sweat Sponsorship quests, you’re tasked to complete a lap around the boat race circuit in the battle royale map. This sounds fairly straightforward, and thankfully, there isn’t much to worry about. The biggest issue is to do it properly, as it can be kind of finicky to know if you’re doing the race correctly. Plus, there’ll be a lot of players around, but don’t fret, as there is a spot where you can secure a boat for yourself without the crowd intervening.
As per usual, I recommend landing around the area directly from the battle bus. We’re heading towards the surrounding area of the Mighty Monument, where there is a race track. There are two speedboats nearby, but it’s likely that other players are going to get there first. As such, I recommend heading over to the shack found up north, as there’s bound to be a third speedboat there. You can also look for a few weapons nearby in case you want to be sure, but hopefully the other players will leave you alone.
The main spots are all scattered around two main areas: The area in between Shifty Shafts and Coney Crossroads, and the eastern side of Sanctuary near the coast. I went for the latter, but it’s up to you. As always, I recommend landing directly from the battle bus here as to pick it up quickly and (hopefully) safely from harm.
Now, go to the starting point and keep an eye on the screen below the scoreboard. You have to wait until the 15 second timer ends, and during that time, I recommend not moving at all so the timer doesn’t reset. Again, it’s finicky, so be patient. Once the countdown ends and you get the greenlight, you can start.
The key is to is to go through each single ring, and you’ll know that you’re doing so correctly when they light up in blue and you hear a sound/witness an animation when passing through. If this doesn’t happen it will mean you missed one of the rings. I recommend avoiding all ramps and not using the boost that much — just take it slowly for the challenge so you don’t waste time.
After doing the full lap and returning to the starting point you’ll be all set, and you should be seeing the quest being completed on your screen.
