General Top Issues

  • Players are getting a blue lobby background. Changing the language to another language and back again, or relaunching Fortnite, or simply playing a match and returning to the lobby should update the lobby background

Battle Royale Top Issues

  • Epic is investigating an issue that is causing the starter island to appear in low render quality
  • Hype overlaps with Overshield in Zero Build Arena
  • On PC, driving a vehicle can sometimes clip under the map when impacting the ground
  • Opening the Map or Quests while using Split-screen causes the 2nd player’s view to turn black. The affected player can open and close their map to regain visibility

Creative Top Issues

  • Any item spawned using the Item Placer device is not counted by the Player Tracker device, the counter will remain at 0
  • The Radio device will play default music if it has been added to the island but “Play During” options are set to “No”
  • Islands that require public matchmaking may find that when a round ends, the game will not end, reset, or proceed to round 2
  • Menu options on some devices will not open after exiting to the hub and reentering the island
  • When using Glass Gallery or Glass Prop Gallery and copying, cutting, and pasting, no placement is shown
  • In matchmaking, Prop Movers can’t be reactivated in a round if they were activated in a previous round
  • Grapple Gloves can interact with Mutator Zones in Creative Islands

Save the World Top Issues

  • Epic is investigating an issue with Rescue Survivor missions that causes some survivors to not spawn or be rescuable
  • The screen flashes white when R.O.S.I.E. is fired at or around the player

Switch & Mobile Top Issues

  • Some players may experience a long loading time when loading into the first match after opening Fortnite. With this issue, players may find the loading screen lasts until battle bus is mid-flight
  • Players on iOS devices may find that the keyboard won’t pop up when selecting a text field. Clicking the small arrow on the side of the screen will provide the option to manually open the keyboard
  • When in the HUD Layout tool players may find that not all buttons will return to their previous position when clicking “Reset to last saved position”
  • Players using a ROG Phone 3 may find that images in the locker and other
