COD Warzone Subway Guide – Each Subway Station Location in Verdansk

Season 6 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is officially live, so it’s once again time to dive in and see what new content awaits players. Along with new maps and weapons, the biggest change coming to the Warzone multiplayer mode is a large subway system. This network of trains allows players to quickly traverse around the center portion of Verdansk in relative safety. There are a total of seven stations scattered throughout the level, most of which are centralized around the middle portion of the map. Don’t expect to catch a ride from Prison or Dam!

Here’s everything you need to know about the subways in Call of Duty: Warzone:

COD Warzone Subway Station Locations

Warzone Subway Station Locations

As I’ve previously mentioned there are seven subway stations that players can visit during their games of Warzone. These stations are in Downtown, Arena, Promanade East, Train Station, Torsk Block, Airport, and Lozoff Pass. You can tell whats the entrance to the subway because it will have a curved green roof and a large staircase leading down to some turnstiles. Once inside, you can loot either of the main platforms or storage rooms for gear while you wait for the trains to arrive. There is no button you need to press to summon the trains, so pay attention to the digital board above each platform.

These will display not only where the arriving train is heading next, but how long until it arrives in the station. Once you are on the train, the doors will close and you’ll be whisked away to your destination. Unfortunately, you will fade to black when you leave the station, so don’t expect to have a moment to enjoy your teammate’s company. We suspect this is to not only conserve memory but to ensure players cannot just hide on the trains. Think of this more as a teleporter than an actual train you’ll ride on like the one going around the ground-level portion of the map.

Additionally, the subway car will not close its doors if there is an enemy on board. While you can battle on the platforms, the subway will not leave if conflicting teams are inside of the car. You can use this to your advantage if you want to delay a team from escaping or keep someone from escaping before a squad is wiped. Just remember, there’s very little cover in the actual subway car, so if you intend to pick a fight you better shoot them first. Finally, subway cars will take you out into the red zone of the ring is closing. They will only stop transport to an area once the ring itself has fully closed and relocated elsewhere. Because of this, you’ll want to watch the little LCD screen in the train to ensure you aren’t getting whisked away to your doom.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 6 is currently live on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
