The idea for Boss Fight Books came to founder Gabe Durham in 2013. He was “hungry for the next thing professionally,” he tells me from Los Angeles, where the publishing house is based. He’d been writing and teaching college classes but couldn’t fight off the dissatisfaction with where his career was heading.
