Are y’all enjoying the new tropical flavor of Fortnite Season 8? Well we hope you are, because there’s pineapple on this pizza whether you like it or not! We also hope you’re ready for another week’s worth of challenges, because those have also arrived, and if you want to get your Battle Pass anywhere near tier 100, you’re gonna have to stay on top of this stuff. And don’t forget about your random dailies! Those are just as vital to completing your Battle Pass as the Weekly Challenges are. You should also eat and sleep at some point but we can’t make maps for that without knowing your exact situation. Here’s what you’ll be doing over the weekend:

Land at The Block, etc
We all know the drill for these challenges by now: Land at the locations above, in the order specified. Sadly, since this is a staged challenge, you can’t use the Party Assist feature to get four locations knocked out in a single match. Maybe someday!
Deal 200 damage to descending Supply Drops
For those of you who may not have known, you can shoot the balloon carrying a supply drop to make it land quicker. Neat! The balloon has a ton of health though, so unless your whole squad is firing with you, there’s little chance you’ll be able to make it land sooner than it would normally. Regardless, for this challenge you’ll want to be in Team Rumble, since that mode drops hell of supply drops around the perimeter of the second and third circles. Watch for the icon on your minimap and you should be able to knock this out in a single round.
Get 3 eliminations at Salty Springs or Haunted Hills
There are three ways of thinking about challenges like this, of which we’re sure there will be many over the course of Season 8. The first theory is that Team Rumble is the fastest way to get it done, since you can respawn and have plenty of opportunities for getting the kills you need. The downside of Team Rumble, however, is that there’s no guaranteed the main circle will be anywhere near either of these locations.
The second theory is that regular solo play is the fastest, since you can drop directly to one of these two spots. The downside here is that you might spend an entire match squatting at a location that no one else dropped to.
The third and final school of thought says to just not worry about it — you’ll get so many eliminations over the course of Season 8 that, statistically, three of them will take place at one of the two locations listed above.
Since Salty Springs is the very center of the map, we’re going to be trying for these elims in vanilla solo Battle Royale. For future challenges of this sort, however, we may recommend a different approach based on what two named locations are involved.

Gain 25 health from apples, etc
There are way fewer apples on the island than there were in Season 7, which is unfortunate since pirates need consistent access to fruit more than anyone. Actually, maybe the apples are gone because the pirates have already taken them all for anti-scurvy purposes? Either way, Team Rumble is your best bet for getting all three stages of this challenge finished, since respawning will give you the most opportunities to be appropriately injured. You can always incur fall damage on purpose, of course, but test your jumps one ramp at a time to make sure you don’t just fall to your death.

Visit the furthest North, South, East, and West points of the island
It’ll take some doing to get this challenge done in the space of two matches, but it should technically be possible. The North and West-most locations on the island are definitely within running distance, and you can probably make it from the Southern tip to the Eastern edge if you keep an ear to the ground and avoid firefights.

Deal 100 damage to opponents with a Pirate Cannon
The key thing here is to not load yourself into the cannon! It may be a lot less fun, but shooting regular cannonballs will give you multiple chances at inflicting damage. Cannonballs deal 100 damage on a direct hit and 50 damage as splash, so taking aim at a fortified group in Team Rumble should get you where you need to go.
Search a chest in 3 different named locations in a single match
The West side of the map has a higher density of named locations than the East side, so your odds will be better there. Making a run from Frosty Flights to Shifty Shafts, with a brief layover at Polar Peak, is how we plan to get this done. There’s also an argument to be made for Junk Junction, to Haunted Hills, to Pleasant Park, or Happy Hamlet, to Lucky Landing, to Fatal Fields. If you do hit up Happy Hamlet, make sure and check in the shops for a Driftboard, there’s usually a ton of them on display.
