Finally, a piece of good news in wrestling. I mean, I guess it’s cool that WWE figured out a way to get women’s wrestling into Saudi Arabia, but New Japan Pro Wrestling has one-upped all of their competition once again in terms of giving me rights.
New Japan Pro Wrestling announced that The New Japan Pectoral Encyclopedia, a book about wrestler tits, will be released in December, just in time for the holidays. It will include the pecs of many New Japan wrestlers, including Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kota Ibushi, Kazuchika Okada, Togi Makabe, and 20 more wrestlers!
The book will also feature conversations between different groups of pec-havers. Roppongi 3K’s SHO and YOH will join Taiji Ishimori for an “Ikemen macho wrestler pectoral muscle talk” (or at least that’s the Google translate, but that seems pretty straightforward to me). The other conversation is a “dandy muscle dialogue” between Togi Makabe and Manabu Nakanishi, if you like your pecs a little more seasoned and wide-set.
Other features, like clothed pectoral pictorials and recommended wrestler diets for pec optimization are also advertised. The word “gravure,” which often refers to sexy-but-clothed pin-up photography, also appeared a few times, so let’s all keep our fingers crossed.
So far, New Japan has only announced this book on their Japanese website and social media, which makes sense, since they assume the entire English speaking audience is straight guys. Still, this could be a great way for them to try to broaden their demographic in the West! I’m hopeful!
The New Japan Pectoral Encyclopedia will be released December 19, and will cost ¥1500 + tax + the astronomical shipping we will all probably have to pay.
