Monday 10/7

New Japan Road on New Japan World @ 5:30 AM EDT

So technically this already happened this morning, but if you’re finding out about New Japan Road this way, you probably weren’t going to stay up late/wake up super early on a Monday morning to watch it. The show has a main event of Okada & Ibushi against two-time World Tag League winners SANADA & EVIL. But also the company is celebrating 20 years of Hiroshi Tanahashi wrestling! Plus Douki is back! Check this out at your leisure, maybe instead of watching something else, I don’t know. I don’t make your decisions for you. It’s an option.

Ring of Honor

Ring of Honor Episode #420 Free on @ 7 PM EDT

I’ll be honest with you. I had no idea how to watch Ring of Honor’s pretaped TV shows until I noticed this on the schedule. If you have regular cable, you may get Ring of Honor on some actual channel, I don’t really know how it works. I’m young and hip and do not understand old technology like cable television. But this special lucha libre episode of Ring of Honor, that is, I must emphasize, episode number four hundred and twenty, is free to watch tonight on the blessèd Internet.

WWE Monday Night Raw on USA @ 8 PM

Who will be drafted to Monday Night Raw now that the brand split is back and better than ever? What will the events of Hell in a Cell mean for our favorite superstars? Also that boxer guy from SmackDown will be getting on the mic. Have you checked his Wikipedia? It’s a doozy.

Tuesday 10/8

All Elite Wrestling

AEW Dark on Youtube @ 7 PM EDT

All Elite Wrestling announced that they will be airing the previous week’s Dynamite’s dark matches on Youtube starting this Tuesday. Last week’s dark matches included Darby Allin vs CIMA, SCU vs Jurassic Express, Lucha Bros, Jack Evans & Angélico vs Best Friends and Private Party, and Allie & Britt Baker vs Bea Priestley & Penelope Ford.

CMLL Martes de Nuevos Valores on @ 8:30 PM EDT

CMLL’s Tuesday show should be free to stream on, making it the only live wrestling I can find that is airing that night.

Total Divas on E! @ 10 PM

The new season of Total Divas continues this Tuesday with more antics from your favorite WWE superstars who are no longer called Divas. I saw a preview where Nia Jax says she doesn’t like Carmella, so you have that to look forward to.

Wednesday 10/9

All Elite Wrestling

AEW Dynamite on TNT @ 8 PM EDT

The AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament gets underway Wednesday night with the Young Bucks vs Private Party, which should be a fun one. Also announced: Jon Moxley vs Shawn Spears, Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara vs Adam Page & Dustin Rhodes.

NXT is back on USA with another two hour live episode. This one has only two matches announced so far, but they’re both super intriguing. WALTER vs KUSHIDA is the kind of big dude little dude styles clash that finally pays off KUSHIDA leaving New Japan where he was stuck being a junior heavyweight forever. The other match will see Drew Gulak defend the Cruiserweight Championship against a recently returned Lio Rush.

Thursday 10/10

Beyond Wrestling

Beyond Uncharted Territory on @ 8 PM EDT

We love Uncharted Territory! Thursday’s show will have the newly crowned wXw World Champion Timothy Thatcher wrestle national treasure Eddie Kingston. Also announced: Team Pazuzu vs White Chocolate and Tony Deppen vs Manders in a Discovery Gauntlet match.

Friday 10/11

CMLL Viernes Espectacular on @ 9:30 PM EDT

Friday’s CMLL show will see the second round of the Torneo de la Gran Alternativa 2019, which pairs a veteran wrestler with a rookie.

Friday Night SmackDown on Fox & the Fox Sports App @ 8 PM EDT

The WWE Draft will continue on Friday night with SmackDown. Last week saw some major title changes for the brand, so it’ll be interesting to see who sticks around to spend more time on Fox.

EVOLVE 137 on @ 8 PM EDT
If NXT is feeling too big for you, don’t worry, there’s also EVOLVE. The company’s 137th show features matches between NXT and independent talent. Announced matches include: Austin Theory defending the EVOLVE Championship against AR Fox, Kassius Ohno vs Josh Briggs, and Cameron Grimes vs Curt Stallion.

Saturday 10/12

Beyond Wrestling

Beyond Wrestling Sodom & Gomorrah on @ 2:30 PM EDT

If Thursday’s Uncharted Territory gets you hungry for even more Beyond (it will), tune back in Saturday afternoon. With a main event of Orange Cassidy challenging Warhorse for the IWTV Championship alongside matches like Nick Gage vs Addy Starr and a six-way match featuring some of the rowdiest boys in indy wrestling today, this should be a treat.

Game Changer Wrestling

GCW No Sleep $13.99 on Fite.TV @ 8 PM EDT

If you get finished with the Beyond show and just think, “gosh, I wish I could watch these people wrestle again right now,” I have great news for you. Six performers announced for Sodom & Gomorrah are also announced for GCW No Sleep. Plus, I’m pretty sure this Chris Dickinson/Effy match is about who gets to definitively be the daddy of the indies. Other matches announced include: Jake Atlas vs Ophidian, Orange Cassidy vs Mance Warner, Alex Zayne vs Zachary Wentz, and Nick Gage defending the GCW Championship against Matthew Justice.

Ring of Honor

Ring of Honor: Glory by Honor $9.99 on or on Honor Club @ 8 PM EDT

Ring of Honor has kind of been out of the spotlight ever since the Young Bucks and Cody’s exit (well, maybe for a lot longer than that), but that doesn’t mean they aren’t doing some cool stuff. I mean, Alex Shelley is back for pete’s sake! Shelley is wrestling Jonathan Gresham, which should be an absolute banger. Plus PCO vs Dalton Castle? There’s definitely some gems on this card. Like, at least two gems.

EVOLVE 138 on @ 8 PM EDT

Kassius Ohno vs Curt Stallion, Cameron Grimes vs Eddie Kingston, and more!

Sunday 10/13

And on the seventh day, wrestling rested.

So there was originally supposed to be a big AAA show in Los Angeles this Sunday, but it was canceled. I know CMLL has a Sunday show, but it doesn’t stream live and I’m not sure how to watch it. There has to be something I’m missing. We can’t just have a day with no wrestling to watch. That’s impossible.

I guess if you stay up all night, you can watch New Japan King of Pro Wrestling at 4 AM EDT on Monday, but putting that on the schedule would mess up my whole format. (Keep an eye out for a card preview for KOPW coming later this week.)
