If you’ve been to see Spider-Man: No Way Home, you’ll know that, rather than Marvel’s usual tease of what comes next, one of the movie’s post-credits scenes is straight up just a trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Well, now that the movie’s been out for a little under a week, Marvel has finally released the trailer officially, which means you can watch it without having to fork out the money for a movie ticket.
The trailer has some references to the events of No Way Home, so if you haven’t seen it yet, proceed with caution. But there are also references to some of the Disney+ shows, specifically WandaVision, What If?, and Loki. It really is the movie that’s bringing in those shows as key pieces of the story, huh? So maybe it’s about time I got around to watching them.

- Miles Morales Is Just a Better Video Game Spider-Man Than Peter Parker
Doctor Strange played a significant role in Spider-Man: No Way Home, as the movie was essentially a team-up story between him and Peter Parker. The character has been a standout in the MCU for me since actor Benedict Cumberbatch’s first time playing him in 2016, so I’m excited to see him headlining again after support roles in Thor: Ragnarok and No Way Home. Though he had a pretty significant part in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, as well.
If you’ve already seen No Way Home and want some further reading on that, I wrote a bit about how it confronts the corporate slap fights surrounding the character of Spider-Man, which you can check out here.
